Garden hydrangeas like permeable, humus and moist soils. They grow well in sunny to semi-shaded positions, but they feel best in a maritime climate: moist and mild, so they require intensive watering, especially on dry and sunny days. 'Jip Blue' is a variety with spectacular dark blue flower color. It is also perfect as a cut flower, as well as for dry compositions.
