Characterized by truly regal flowers, the rose 'Queen of Sweden' owes its name to the commemoration of the treaty between England and Sweden and the resulting friendship between the two countries. Although it is a variety belonging to the group of modern shrub roses, Swedish Queen recalls the traditional, romantic roses once found in European gardens. The freshness and abundance of its inflorescences makes it impossible for us to pass indifferently in front of its charms, and, like bees, we are attracted by its pink buds with a delicate fragrance. 'Queen of Sweden', like a true queen, needs proper care to blossom in the fullness of its charm - a sunny or semi-shaded position, proper spacing from other plants, and removal of bloomed inflorescences during the growing season will ensure the rose's caretaker its undying gratitude.
