Leather fern
Rumohra adiantiformis
Leather fern is native to places where coconut drinks are drunk, the water is always blue-green, and all this is accompanied by the gentle hum of palm trees. It is not endemic, so residents of the entire southern hemisphere can enjoy its quiet presence, because unfortunately the ferns are too low to hum softly.
In our conditions - it is known as a potted plant - it likes diffused light, water at room temperature and a substrate with a high humus content, i.e. it is a veritable home deli. Although demanding, the fern will return the favor by being our patch of the Caribbean on the windowsill. The leaves of this beautiful plant are perfect for floral compositions.
